In 2018 we were granted an exciting opportunity to work on our first large corporate project, at the same time unlocking a new and upcoming market in Nairobi, Kenya.
The main challenge at the design stage was to create a workspace for team members coming from a diverse variety of backgrounds and cultures. The design direction was based on minimalism with touches of Chinese architectural language - such as metal trims on the logo wall and furniture shape, as well as bright accents - such as bathroom backsplash tiles, geometric frosted patterns on glass partitions - to connect with the Kenyan employees and visitors.
